Skandia are now able to offer their Fund Supermarket (Master Trust), Skandia One, to Wealth Focus investors with no initial set up fees.
Skandia One Investment Solutions is an investment supermarket offering a wide choice of funds and providers, allowing you to spread your investments across a number of different fund managers using one simple application
Since fund management companies specialise in different sectors and it’s unlikely that the leading fund manager in one sector (e.g. Australian equities) is also going to be the leading fund manager in every other investment sector.
Trying to reduce the administration burden by keeping all your investments with one fund manager can cost you, especially when a star fund manager moves on.
Fund supermarkets such as the Skandia One Master Trust were created, reducing the burden on you, allowing you to switch funds easily at little or no cost.
The Skandia One Master Trust allows you to:

What do we get paid

Wealth Focus will rebate 100% of the 4.0% entry fee on investments in the Skandia One Master Trust as additional units. Wealth Focus may receive a trailing commission of up to 0.50% pa. This trailing commission is paid by the fund manager and is NOT an additional charge to the investor.
