Before setting up Wealth Focus, Sulieman worked as an independent financial planner for over 12 years, having set up and run PensionsNetwork.com (a discount super fund broker) in 2000 and worked as a partner in City Financial Partners Ltd, a National Financial Planning firm based in the UK.

Sulieman has worked with Australian, and UK based companies in financial services and holds the Advanced Certificate of Financial Planning in the UK and a degree in Chemical Engineering.
