Macquarie Fusion® Funds (Fusion Funds) provides investors with the opportunity to gain exposure to a choice of 14 managed funds, with the ability to borrow 100% of the investment and protect 100% of the initial investment amount at maturity.

Key features and benefits

Exposure to a choice of 14 managed funds that are generally not available for direct investment by Australian retail investors.

No up front capital required. Fusion Funds requires you to borrow 100% of the investment amount, allowing you to invest without having to tie up investment capital.

Protection of 100% of the initial investment amount at maturity through the purchase of a Put Option. Importantly, there are no margin calls.

Rising profit lock in. If the value of your units in a Fusion Fund rise above a "Profit Trigger" at an annual review, capital protection rises to to a "New Protected Amount".

An ATO Product Ruling (PR 2009/51)** is available, addressing the tax consequences for eligible investors of borrowing to invest.

 

What do we get paid

Wealth Focus will rebate the 1.0% commission (100%) of the investment loan application fee in the form of a cheque and may also receive a trailing commission of up to 0.50% pa of the value of the investment loan. This trailing commission is paid by the fund manager and is NOT an additional charge to the investor.
