Rewards Group Premium Timber Project 2010 offers Growers the opportunity to participate in a premium Australian forestry project. This Project will result in the establishment and operation of an Australian sandalwood plantation in Western Australia and teak plantation in far north Queensland.

Key features and benefits
By selecting Rewards to manage your investment, you will be selecting a farm manager that offers the following significant benefits to participating Growers:Production of a high value timber
Teak is a premium tropical hardwood renowned for its strength, durability and weather resistant qualities. The market value of teak is greater than that of most other plantation timbers.Sandalwood in high demand
The use of sandalwood in joss sticks is intimately tied to Asian cultures and has been for centuries. As such, it is a strong, stable market. Major Asian suppliers, India and Indonesia, have restricted sandalwood log exports because of dwindling stocks, resulting in an increase in demand for sandalwood

Income streams from year 7
By combining teak and sandalwood, an annuity style income is forecast from harvesting of the trees commencing at approximately years 7, 8, 11, 12, 15, 16 with a final felling harvest at years 19 and 20.
